This is what you need to successfully pass the 1C Senior Developer certification
1C Senior Developer training course
The certification is based on our free online video course. The course includes video lessons and text quizzes that cover all you need to know to pass the certification exam. Please, make sure you watched the course and took the quizzes before trying to pass the exam.
The Laboratory
Our certification exam is conducted on our Laboratory server. The pass the certification exam, you need to connect to the Laboratory using RDP (Remote Desktop Connection) client. The RDP client will show you the Laboratory's desktop as if you were working directly with the Laboratory server. This is where we have already setup everything you need to pass the certification exam: the 1C:Enterprise platform, certification test infobases and detailed specification of all the tasks you need to implement.
RDP clients differ depending on the OS you use. Follow one of the links below to learn how to setup an RDP client and connect to the Laboratory for your OS:
To connect to the Laboratory you will need a login and a password we emailed to you after you activated your certification attempt. Please, check your inbox and find our email before moving on with the certification.
IMPORTANT! Your certification attempt timer starts at the moment of your first login to the Laboratory. You have six hours since that moment to pass all six certification tests. If you don't pass all tests before this time is up, you will be logged off from the Laboratory, and your certification attempt will be declared unsuccessful.
During the certification, you can logoff from the Laboratory or loose connection to it any number of times. This won't restart the timer or affect your certification attempt in any way. Just reconnect to the Laboratory and continue to work.
The certification
As soon as you are logged on to the sandbox you will be shown the Dashboard. The Dashboard is a HTML page that lives on your Desktop, so you can reopen it at any time if you accidentally close it.
The Dashboard contains a detailed description of all the tasks you need to implement.
The Dashboard also contains a Certification Manual containing instructions on how to use the Laboratory to pass the certification tests. Please, take some time to read the manual before logging in on to the Laboratory, so you don't loose any time after your certification timer is already on.
